Game and the 'Big 5' are found throughout the park and no region can claim to be better than another for walking or game-viewing as each trail and lodge has its own unique style, terrain and biodiversity. For example, the southern Kruger may have a somewhat higher concentration of game, but the far north boasts spectacular scenery with unrivalled widerness areas and a diversity of rare birdlife not found anywhere else in the country. All walking and game-drive experiences are to the same high standard on every trail. The price difference between the various trails is determined simply by the levels of luxury & dining provided at each lodge or camp. These range from rustic tented safari fly camps basic 3x3m safari bow tents with single beds and simple camp food, through to 5-star safari lodges offering luxurious quarters and exquisite dining fare, along with the finest wines.
